Dhow Dinner Cruise (19:30 - pick time - 2 hours cruising time)
Enjoy a memorable evening, cruising along Dubai`s Creek onboard a traditional wooden dhow. Cruise by Dubai`s illuminated skyline, offering sights of traditional and modern architecture. `Abras` (water taxis), old trading dhows, luxury yachts and modern architecture like the National Bank of Dubai, Chamber of Commerce & Industry building, Sheikh Saeed`s House, and the Heritage Village are some of the impressive sights to enjoy.
As a good blend of Arabic and International music soothes your ears, a sumptuous buffet dinner with a wide array of continental and oriental dishes, along with an excellent selection of beverages is available.
Dubai City Tour (09:30 - 13:30) included in sample itinerary *
This is an orientation tour of Dubai. We begin with a photo-stop at the `Burj Al Arab` the 7-star world tallest hotel. Driving past some of the sheikh`s palaces towards the next halt at the impressive Jumeira Mosque.
Drive onwards to Bastakiya, the oldest part of the city, to visit Dubai`s museum at the Al Fahidi Fort. After the museum tour, continue on foot through the colorful textile market. Proceed onwards for an `Abra` crossing - trip on the local water taxi across the creek to the Gold and Spice Souk.
Dubai Shopping Tour(09:30- 13:30)
This again is an orientation tour on Dubai`s shopping wonders. Begin with a halt at `City Centre` one of the biggest malls in Deira Dubai, after which we proceed to Bur Dubai for a short walk through `Bur Juman` shopping center. After visiting both the malls we proceed to explore the bargains at the Gold Souq and savor the aroma of exotic spices while strolling through the spice souq.
Sharjah & Ajman Tour(09:30- 13:30)
This tour gives you an opportunity to see both the emirates of Sharjah and Ajman. Ajman, located a short distance northeast of Sharjah`s capital city is the smallest of the seven emirates. Fishing, both traditional and modern, and dhow building are still important industries. Ajman`s museum, housed in an ancient fort, served as the ruler`s palace.
We then drive back into Sharjah, with a photo halt at the cultural roundabout and thereafter proceed to the Al Majarrah Souq. Next halt to visit Bait Al Naboodah, the Al Naboodah family house, been converted into the heritage museum. We continue on to The Al Hisn Fort, the traditional residence of the ruling family of Sharjah. Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qassimi. Visit the nearby Souq Al Arsah (Courtyard Souq) is one of the oldest popular souqs in the UAE. We then take a tour of the fish market to see the catch of the day. Continue to Central Market, well known as the Blue souq. Opposite the Souk stands the majestic King Faisal Mosque and the Pearl Monument, symbol of the UAE Federation. Return back to your origin point.
Abu Dhabi City Tour(08:30- 1430)
Abu Dhabi is the largest of the seven Emirates and the Federal capital of the United Arab Emirates. A well planned modern city with several high-rise buildings, impressive palaces, beautiful corniches and architectural mosques.
Visit Al-Hosn Palace, the Old Fort, built in the late 19th century, making it the oldest buildings in town. At the eastern end of the Corniche, near the port, lies Abu Dhabi`s fish market and dhow wharf, offering an excellent view of the city skyline.
Stop at a carpet market where a huge variety of fabulous carpets from all around the world are being sold at very affordable prices. Halt for lunch at a hotel restaurant before returning to Dubai.
Al Ain Tour(08:30- 14:30)
Al Ain is an oasis city and the second largest in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Having a history dating back to the 4th millennium BC. Al Ain is one of the agricultural centres of the Emirates and also a university town and the birthplace of the President of the U.A.E.
Visit the archaeological digs at Hili, which date back some 5,000 years. Drive onwards to the oasis town of Buraimi. After lunch, visit the Al Ain Palace Museum, the residence of the late ruler Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan from 1927 until the early 70s.
On the return journey to Dubai, halt at the quaint camel market where you have a good opportunity to observe these extraordinary `ship of the desert`.
East Coast Tour (08:30- 14:30)
This tour takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Driving through a changing landscape, go past desert scenery and past the oasis town of Dahid and onwards through a mountain terrain, where we halt at the local market offering local produce, pottery and carpets.
The tour continues onwards via the town of Masafi, well known for its fresh water spring and Dibba, a local fishing harbour.
Then the tour takes a scenic turn offering a stunning sight of the turquoise blue Indian Ocean. The coastal route takes us past Bidya Mosque, the oldest mosque in the UAE.
Halt for lunch at a hotel restaurant.
The return tour to Dubai is through the city of Fujairah with a visit of its old fort.
